What makes the RS1 different from every other putter?

Weight placement. In 95% of putters, the weight sits behind or on the shaft axis — which causes the face to drift open during your stroke. The RS1 uses Forward Axis Weighting to place 75% of the head weight in front of the shaft axis. Gravity pulls the face toward square instead of away from it. That’s something no other putter does.

What is Forward Axis Weighting?

It’s the engineering principle behind the RS1. By positioning the center of gravity ahead of the shaft axis, gravity actively holds the face square through the stroke. You pull it back, gravity pulls it through. Zero face drift.

How is this different from zero-torque putters?

Zero-torque putters neutralize the face — they hang in a passive, balanced state with no gravitational force in either direction. The RS1 goes further. Forward Axis Weighting creates an active gravitational force that pulls the face toward square. It doesn’t just stop the problem — it gives you an assist.
